Overseas Licence Conversions
If you have a full licence from another country and it is still valid, you may drive in Victoria for up to three months without changing your licence. When you decide to get a full Victorian Licence, you are required to sit the same tests as a Learner Driver. A Learner Test (Theory) is completed first, then a Hazard Perception Test (Computer Simulation), and then a Drive Test (Practical) must be completed before a Full Victorian Licence is issued.
