Taxi Drivers/Taxi Assessments
Are you thinking of becoming a Victorian Taxi Driver?
Conan Drive offers a range of services for people becoming a Victorian Taxi driver.
The current rules specify that if you have a Full Victorian Drivers Licence and have held this licence for less than one year (eg 4 months), then you are required to sit an Independent Victorian Taxi Assessment. Conan Drive offers such assessments.
Each assessment begins at VicRoads in Carlton, involves many driving situations that are marked by the instructor, and terminates at VicRoads in Carlton. Some of the situations involved in the test are;
- Hook Turns
- Entering and Exiting a Freeway
- Different Parking Situations (eg Reverse Parking)
If you do not feel that you are up to the qualifications of the assessment, Conan Drive offers lessons to drivers to reach the standard of the assessment.
